Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £35,360–£40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and education and is ready to lead a team and play a key role in the continued success of the nursery.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care, learning and development.
You will lead and support the nursery team, creating a positive environment where both children and staff can thrive.
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Leading, supporting and developing the nursery team
- Ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding are maintained
- Supporting the delivery of a high-quality Early Years curriculum
- Creating an environment where children can build confidence, resilience and independence
- Ensuring the nursery meets all relevant EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety requirements
- Building strong and positive relationships with children, parents and families
- Working closely with the Deputy Manager and wider nursery team
- Supporting staff development through regular supervision, feedback and training
- Monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and care across the nursery
- Managing nursery policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management of staff
- Maintaining strong relationships with parents and responding to any queries or concerns professionally
- Contributing to the continued development and improvement of the nursery
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following
- A relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior Early Years leadership role
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Experience leading, motivating and developing a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education
- The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- A positive, supportive and collaborative approach to leadership
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
