Busy Bees Lewes is seeking an amazing Nursery Manager to ignite fun and learning for our children. With your Level 3 childcare qualification and two years of leadership in early years settings, you’ll bring EYFS expertise and vibrant energy to our team.

You’ll lead and inspire staff, drive quality improvement, ensure safe practice, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with parents and the community.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Lewes, rated Good by Ofsted, is a small center with a capacity of 51 children, featuring three dedicated rooms and a sleep room for rest. Our nursery boasts two gardens, providing ample outdoor space for play and exploration. We actively engage with the community through regular walks, helping children connect with their surroundings. Conveniently located near the local station and with numerous bus routes and shops close by, we ensure accessibility for families while fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.

About You

• We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Nursery Manager whose primary goal is to deliver the highest standards of childcare and early years education.
• You will be resourceful, commercially minded, have strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
• You will have strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.

Qualifications And Experience

• NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, or NVQ Level 3.
• Experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• A focus on delivering high-quality childcare and early education.
