Job summary

Willingcare in Greater London is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a Montessori nursery, driving high standards of care and education in line with EYFS principles.

The role requires strong leadership, people management and excellent communication, with duties spanning safeguarding, team development and creating a positive learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager – essential
• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
• Experience maintaining high standards of care, education and compliance
• Ability to inspire, develop and motivate a team
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the nursery
• Supporting and developing a high-performing team
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with EYFS

Nursery Manager

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum | 40 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a well-established Montessori nursery committed to providing exceptional early years education in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Guided by Montessori principles, the setting encourages children to develop independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning through exploration and discovery. This role is ideal for a strong and inspiring leader who can drive high standards, support a dedicated team, and ensure the nursery continues to provide outstanding experiences for children and families.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager – essential
