Job summary

Tinies is launching a brand-new Nursery Manager role in Godalming. You will lead day-to-day operations, build a high-performing team, and shape a welcoming environment where children can thrive.

You will drive EYFS standards, foster strong parent partnerships, and ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance while growing occupancy from day one.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent).
• Experience in nursery management or leadership role.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + Share Options + Bonus Potential
• 40 hours per week | All Year Round | Godalming

We're seeking an ambitious, passionate, and entrepreneurial Nursery Manager to establish and grow an exciting new childcare setting in the heart of Godalming.

You'll play a pivotal role in introducing a fresh, flexible childcare solution to local families and helping to grow an innovative childcare business from day one.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated nursery team
• Creating a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment for children and families
• Driving outstanding practice in line with the EYFS framework
• Building strong partnerships with parents and the local community
• Ensuring compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
• Supporting occupancy growth and the overall success of the nursery

About You

We're looking for a confident and inspiring leader who is passionate about giving children the very best start in life.

You will have:

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a nursery management or leadership role
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• A proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
