Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a super nursery in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

Person Specification:

1. NVQ level 3 or above
2. Experience of leading and motivating a team
3. Track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections
4. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
5. Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
6. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

Nursery Manager Responsibilities:

1. Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and KPIs.
2. Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
3. Assist in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
4. Lead the team and support in EYFS curriculum planning.
5. Manage staff rotas and staff meetings.
6. Ensure children’s observations, assessment, and development records are maintained.
7. Manage marketing activities, such as open days and promotions.
8. Lead Safeguarding and Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring all staff follow policies and procedures.
9. Work in partnership with parents, forming caring and trusting relationships.
10. Attend staff meetings and training as required.
