Job summary

Bright Horizons Stourton is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to join the Stourton nursery. This is a full-time maternity cover for 10 months, with a salary of £12.75 per hour and 40-hour work weeks.

You will maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff, perform daily laundry, and assist with additional nursery duties as needed. The role requires COSHH/Health & Safety knowledge and a focus on high standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
• Food Safety Level 2 (CIEH) or above must be passed on day 1 in post
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
• Great communication skills with colleagues, children, and parents

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues, and families
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and nappies areas
• Carry out daily laundry and support mealtimes and other nursery tasks as required
