Job summary

Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for children and families, ensuring hygiene in child bathrooms and changing areas, and supporting daily laundry and nursery tasks throughout the day.

Previous cleaning experience, COSHH/Health & Safety awareness, and good communication with staff, children and parents are essential. This role is based at Cheshunt with early shifts.

Qualifications

• Cleanliness and hygiene focus for nursery environments.
• COSHH and Health & Safety knowledge are required.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, staff and families.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in bathrooms and nappies areas.
• Carry out daily laundry and assist with nursery tasks as needed (e.g. mealtimes, equipment cleaning).
