Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Nursery / EYFS Teaching Assistant to support partner schools with day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and temporary-to-permanent opportunities.

Full-time and part-time positions are available, with a daily rate of £100–£125 and flexible assignments across various primary settings in the region.

You will deliver engaging activities, prepare classrooms, supervise breaks, support learning through play, and engage in safeguarding and CPD.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to support both short-term and long-term placements.
• Genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS on the Update Service; previous early years experience desirable.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery / EYFS Teaching Assistants to support our partner schools and nurseries across Cambridgeshire. This role offers excellent flexibility with day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and opportunities for temporary-to-permanent positions within primary settings.

Pay: £100–£125 per day

About the Role

As a Nursery / EYFS Assistant, you will:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Adaptability to support both short-term and long-term placements.
• A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
• Previous experience in an early years or children's setting (desirable but not essential).
• Willingness to complete safeguarding checks — all staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
