Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Nursery and EYFS Specialist Practitioners to work across Lancaster and surrounding areas. Opportunities include daily supply, long-term placements and permanent roles in nurseries, pre-schools and primary school EYFS settings.

The role focuses on supporting learning and development in line with EYFS, creating safe and inclusive environments, delivering engaging activities, and building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or a related subject (desirable).
  • Previous experience in nurseries, pre-schools or EYFS settings.
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices and EYFS principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Create safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environments.
  • Deliver engaging activities that promote social, emotional and educational development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Support children's personal care needs where required.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress.
  • Promote safeguarding and child welfare at all times.

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Nursery and EYFS Specialist Practitioners to work within a variety of nurseries, pre-schools and primary school EYFS settings. Whether you're seeking daily supply, long-term placements or a permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

As an EYFS Specialist Practitioner, you will:
  • Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework.
