Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Blackpool from September 2026.

You will work across Nursery and Reception, supporting children's early learning, development and wellbeing.

You will deliver small group and 1:1 interventions, help create a safe, stimulating environment and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. The role offers competitive weekly pay and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Blackpool from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both Nursery and Reception, supporting children during the crucial early stages of their education. The school is seeking a nurturing and proactive individual who is passionate about helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role
  • Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception classes.
  • Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
  • Assist in creating an engaging, stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
  • Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant childcare, education or Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
