Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to join our growing network across Lancaster, Morecambe, Wyre, Garstang and surrounding areas. Roles range from day-to-day supply to longer-term positions, offering flexibility to fit your career ambitions and lifestyle.

We provide opportunities in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a focus on supporting pupils with additional learning needs and creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils
• Supporting children's learning and development across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working with small intervention groups and individual pupils
• Assisting children with additional learning needs and SEN requirements
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children, young people or within an educational setting
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is advantageous
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
