Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Cook for a temporary assignment in Coxhoe, Durham, working 10:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role is a short-term position, approximately one month, with pay at £13.50 per hour.

The cook will prepare fresh meals for children, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene and managing day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have nursery/school catering experience, Level 2 Food Hygiene, an enhanced DBS, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience within a nursery, school, care, or similar catering environment.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential).
• Ability to work independently and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Nursery Cook to work within a nursery setting in Coxhoe, Durham on a temporary basis for approximately one month.

This role would suit an experienced cook who is confident preparing fresh, nutritious meals for children while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
