Job summary

PRS in the Epsom area is seeking a temporary Catering Assistant to join the nursery catering team. You will support the kitchen with the daily preparation and service of meals for around 50 nursery children, in a weekday morning shift.

Duties include basic food preparation, assisting with breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, washing up, helping with stock, and ensuring food safety and allergen procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• Non-slip shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation.
