Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking Catering Assistants to support schools, colleges and nurseries around Southport on a temporary/agency basis covering holiday and sickness.

The role involves preparing and serving meals, handling food prep, keeping areas clean and hygienic, washing dishes and following strict food safety guidelines. An Enhanced DBS, Level 1 Food Hygiene, Food Allergen Certificate and Benedict's Law Training are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or F&B Assistant.
• Enhanced DBS required for roles involving children.
• Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Food Allergen Certificate held or obtained.
• Benedict's Law Training completed or underway.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and drinks.
• Deal with food prep (meat/veg/sauces).
• Keep kitchen and dining areas spotless and hygienic.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
