Job summary

Alignedge Solutions Limited in Peacehaven, England, is seeking a Business Manager to join the UK's leading intergenerational pre-school and day care setting. You will join the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Head Teacher, and oversee day-to-day finance, HR, administration and business operations from the nursery.

The role offers flexible working with at least 3 days onsite per week and up to 2 days working from home. Salary £30,000–£33,000 FTE per year, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance and budget management for a Nursery/School setting preferred.
• Knowledge of HR/payroll processes for educational settings.
• Familiarity with GDPR and safeguarding requirements in early years environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance, HR, administration and business operations.
• Be part of the Senior Leadership Team and report to the Head Teacher.
• Oversee Early Years funding, compliance, and operational planning and reporting.
