Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Bank Nursery Practitioners to cover nurseries across Warwick and the surrounding areas. Flexible, bank/temporary contracts with competitive rates and the chance to gain experience across different settings.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children aged 0–5, a caring approach, and a good understanding of safeguarding and EYFS. Levels 2/3 qualifications are desirable but not essential; commitment to flexible shifts is important.

Qualifications

• Caring, positive and reliable approach.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS.
• Flexibility to work across different nursery settings.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0–5 years.
• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Support children's learning and development through play.
• Help with feeding, changing and personal care where required.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies.
• Work alongside permanent staff to ensure a smooth day.

TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bank Nursery Practitioners to provide cover across a range of welcoming nurseries and Early Years settings throughout Warwick and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for 1–2 days a week, full-time hours or complete flexibility, bank work gives you the freedom to choose when you work while gaining experience across different settings.

The role will include:

Supporting children aged 0–5 years

Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment

Supporting children's learning and development through play

Helping with feeding, changing and personal care where required

Following safeguarding and nursery policies

Working alongside permanent nursery staff to ensure a smooth day

We’re looking for:

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential

Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting

A caring, positive and reliable approach

Good knowledge of safeguarding and the EYFS

Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
