Job summary

TeacherActive in Redditch is seeking Bank Nursery Practitioners to join a caring, enthusiastic team on a flexible bank basis. You will support children across learning activities, daily routines, and nurturing play, while contributing to a safe and inspiring environment.

The role offers flexible hours between 8:30am and 5pm, with DBS checks and safeguarding compliance as part of the placements. Prior childcare qualifications are desirable, but experienced applicants without a qualification are

Qualifications

• A childcare qualification Level 2 or 3 is desirable.
• Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

As a bank staff member, you'll play a vital role in supporting our nursery whenever extra help is needed, creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

• Supporting children in their learning, development, and daily routines.

What We're Looking For

• Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant childcare qualification is desirable (Level 2 or Level 3), but we also welcome applications from experienced unqualified practitioners, students, or those currently working towards a childcare qualification.
