Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Assistant for a mainstream nursery chain in West London to cover supply shifts. The role runs 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, starting 01/09/2026 with a contract end date of July 2027.

Depending on performance, there may be an extension or a move to a permanent position. Successful applicants will have at least 1 year UK nursery experience and an up-to-date safeguarding course.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Nursery Assistant for a mainstream nursery chain in West London.

Depending on performance the nursery would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - West London
• Position - Nursery Assistant

• Duration / Likely Duration - Until end of the academic year
• Contract or position end date - July 2027
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate 100 - 130 per day
• Hours - 8:00 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year Nursery experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
