Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Assistant for a West London nursery. Level 3 qualified and with safeguarding up to date, you will join a setting focused on training staff and developing practice. The role is full-time, 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, with a permanent contract starting 01/09/26.

You should have UK nursery experience, be eligible to work in the UK, and able to provide two professional references. DBS update service or willingness to apply is required.

The nursery is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - West London
• Position - Nursery Assistant
• Contract or position start date - 01/09/26
• Duration / Likely Duration - On-going
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Permanent
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £22,000 - £30,000 per annum
• Hours - 8:00am - 5pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Minimum 1 year nursery experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
