At our Murrayfield Nursery in Edinburgh, we are recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join our team, covering our lunchtime, working 11am to 2pm Monday to Friday all year round. Great salaries offered up to £14.43 per hour depending on qualifications and experience together with great benefits.

The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh. At our busy 90 place nursery, we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team. Our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Outside, we have a large, secure outdoor space including a fire pit, a fishpond, and an outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children to enjoy fun.

Requirements

As a Lunch Time Assistant you will:

1. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
2. Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
3. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor always.
4. Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.
5. Have experience of working with the under 5s; an Early Years qualification would be an advantage.
