Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd invites applications for a Nursery Assistant in Bridgend. The role is part-time and on-site, with an immediate start and flexible short- and long-term opportunities.

You will support children during daily routines and learning activities, bringing energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to help create a safe, stimulating environment. The setting celebrates Welsh language and culture and values a caring approach, creativity and reliability in every shift.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Understanding of supporting children's learning and development.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Ability to engage children through creative and stimulating activities.
• Reliable, flexible and energetic approach.

The setting celebrates Welsh language and culture throughout nursery life, helping children develop their identity while providing an engaging and nurturing environment.

The setting is looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant for an immediate start, with flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines and learning activities, bringing energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude while helping to create a safe and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable
• Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years environment
• An understanding of supporting children’s learning and development
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
• The ability to engage children through creative and stimulating activities
• A reliable, flexible and energetic approach
