Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality early years provision in Manchester. You will help create a safe and engaging environment where children learn through play and develop essential skills.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare and experience working in a nursery. Responsibilities include planning activities, promoting independence, and ensuring child safety.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities alongside the room leader and team.
• Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning records.
• Promote children's independence, confidence, and well-being.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed at all times.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
