Job summary

Willingcare in Banstead is looking for a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join our caring team. You will deliver high-quality care and education for children aged infancy to preschool, plan play-based activities, and support each child’s development in a bright, child-centered setting.

This role requires a Level 3 EYFS qualification or equivalent, experience in early years, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Solid understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

£28,000–£32,000 per year | 42.5 Hours per Week

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll join a supportive team that's passionate about creating inspiring experiences and giving every child the very best start in life.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within an early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development through play.

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their learning journeys.
• Make full use of the nursery's bright learning environments, soft play area, and extensive outdoor spaces to create exciting learning opportunities.
• Support children as they develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment at all times.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
