About The Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting young childrens early development, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where they can flourish. This role offers a temp:to:perm contract, providing flexibility and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily activities of the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
• Help plan and implement activities that support childrens physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Maintain the health, safety, and well:being of all children under your care.
• Build positive relationships with children to boost their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with nursery staff and teachers to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Help prepare and tidy nursery or classroom spaces to ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Monitor and record childrens progress, contributing to reports as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering updates on their childs development and well:being.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings is highly desirable.
