Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, government-run nursery in Cardiff, who are looking for a caring and committed Nursery Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the daily care, supervision, and learning of children aged 0-5.
• Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Support with observations and contribute to individual development plans.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of child development and safeguarding.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.

Desirable:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• DBS on the update service.
