Nursery Assistant - Early Years

Prospero Teaching is seeking Early Years Assistants to provide cover across various nurseries in the Weston-Super-Mare area. These roles start immediately and involve maintaining a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment, as well as supervising daily activities within the nursery. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about early childhood education.

Position Details

• Location: Various nurseries in Weston-Super-Mare
• Position: Nursery Assistant
• Contract Type: Ongoing, full-time

Qualifications and Experience

• Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a nursery setting, either permanent or temporary
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (can be completed via a free course with Prospero Teaching if not recent)
• Strong behaviour management skills

Eligibility Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to apply for one
• Two professional child-related references
