This temporary role supports ages 0-5, with EYFS-aligned activities, safeguarding, and a focus on children's development in a safe, nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent (essential).
• Enhanced DBS certificate (preferably Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach.
• Available to start at the beginning of September.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day care and education of children aged 0-5.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Observe and record children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
• Support children's personal care needs where required.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.

Do you hold a Level 3 Nursery or Early Years qualification (or equivalent)?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly nursery setting in Canterbury, Kent.

This temporary opportunity is ideal for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day care and education of children aged 0-5 years.
