TeacherActive is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner for our well-established nursery in Alcester. This temporary, full-time on-site role offers £12–£15 per hour and the chance to provide a safe, nurturing EYFS environment.

Based in Alcester (B49), you will work with a friendly team and receive guidance from a dedicated consultant. You will support daily nursery operations, plan age-appropriate activities, ensure safeguarding, and build strong relationships with children, parents

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support children's development.
• Maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
