Job summary

Three Gables Nursery Westbourne is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to pursue a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. You will join a friendly team, support children's learning and development, and gain hands-on experience in planning, observations and safeguarding within EYFS guidelines.

The role runs 40 hours per week, with shifts 8am–6pm, and offers a completion bonus, loyalty bonus after 1 year, free uniform, discounted childcare and 28 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards functional skills.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five.
• Care, patience and teamwork are essential.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key person for a group of children.
• Supporting planning, observations, and assessments.
• Ensuring the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children.
• Creating a safe, stimulating learning environment in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
