Job summary

Oaklands Nursery in Tonbridge is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice who wants to complete a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. You will be part of a friendly, supportive team, playing an active role in children’s learning and development.

You will act as a key person for a group of children, support planning, observations and assessments, and help safeguard and promote welfare. The role includes creating a safe, stimulating environment, building strong relationships

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent required, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key person for a group of children.
• Supporting planning, observations, and assessments.
• Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children.
