Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking a Nursecall Field Engineer to join a well-established team in Birmingham. The role involves installation, maintenance and fault-finding on nurse call systems across the Midlands with travel to surrounding areas.

You will work hands-on with wireless and wired nurse call hardware, networking and Windows-based systems. A valid UK driving licence, DBS Basic and right to work in the UK are required. Salary £30,000-£40,000; Mon-Fri; FT, permanent.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK driving licence with clean record.
• DBS Basic Disclosure is required prior to employment.
• Fluent English language skills are essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Test and fault-find nursecall system functionality on site.
• Set up and replace display screens and call points as needed.
• Provide on-site training on system functionality for care staff.
• Install new peripherals and nurse call peripherals for upgrades.
• Install new nurse call systems in care environments.
• Run CAT5e/CAT6 data cables for new installations.
• Investigate Wi‑Fi or IT faults and assist with networking.
• Rack and patch IT equipment in data cabinets.
