Exemplar Health Care’s Willowbeck care home in Sheffield is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead the night shift nursing team, maintain high care standards and ensure governance compliance. You’ll act as Named Nurse for residents, overseeing care plans and medication management with a supportive leadership team.

As a registered nurse with an NMC PIN and post-registration supervisory experience, you’ll inspire the team, drive improvements, and deliver person-centred care in a busy home setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN.
• Post-registration and supervisory/management experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care and nursing team on shift to meet medical, physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain and develop high standards of care and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework and policies (observation, handover, care planning, risk assessment).
• Act as Named Nurse for residents, overseeing and updating their care profiles.
• Supervise and manage unit medication ordering, storage, administration, recording and disposal.
