Job summary

iGo Recruitment is recruiting for a Registered Nurse Functional Assessor in Milton Keynes. The role involves completing Work Capability Assessments and producing evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions, rather than hands-on nursing.

Assessments can be by telephone, video, or in-person at the Milton Keynes assessment centre, with a hybrid pattern of work. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured assessments and produce evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions.
• Review supporting evidence and apply clinical knowledge and professional judgement.
• This is an assessment and report-writing role rather than a hands-on nursing position.
• Assessments may take place by telephone, online video appointment or face-to-face at the Milton Keynes assessment centre.
• Gather accurate information through structured questioning and produce clear reports.
