Job summary

Maximus is a global organisation delivering health and employment services in the UK. As a Nurse Functional Assessor in Chesterfield, you will conduct assessments to understand how a condition affects daily life and prepare reports for the DWP, with training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration
• At least 1 year post-registration adult or mental health experience
• Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with computer software to type and produce detailed reports

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
• Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the DWP determine a person’s eligibility for benefits
• Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision
