Maximus in Warrington is seeking a Registered Nurse to join as a Nurse Functional Assessor. This full-time role operates hybrid hours, 09:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with salary starting at £42,000 and potential progression to £46,000 on accreditation.

You will assess how health conditions affect daily living, prepare PIP and WCA reports, and contribute to people’s lives with your clinical expertise. NHS experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the NMC and hold a current practising certificate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to use computer software to produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how health conditions affect daily living.
• Produce PIP or WCA reports to support benefit eligibility decisions.
• Develop clinical knowledge with ongoing feedback and supervision.
