Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Quality Improvement Manager to cover South Yorkshire on a 12-month fixed-term maternity contract. The role focuses on delivering the Quality Strategy and supporting services to provide high standards of care.

You will work with Clinical Nurse Managers, act as link nurse for key specialisms, and lead governance activities such as policy updates, action plans after inspections and monthly specialist training reviews.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with NMC pin is required.
• Evidence of further professional development in relation to care, management or quality.
• Coaching qualification is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to travel to all locations of the business.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Director to deliver the Exemplar Quality Strategy across themes.
• Coach and support Operations team, particularly Clinical Nurse Managers.
• Act as link nurse for Nutrition and Hydration, Tissue Viability, End of life; update policies and ensure paperwork is current.
• Follow an improvement strategy per service focusing on compliance and effectiveness of quality assurance, care plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure specialist training analysis reviews are conducted monthly and that training is aligned with quality goals.
• Develop quality policies, procedures, tools, audit materials and service user information.
• Support the implementation of new initiatives to improve Service User quality of life.
