Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is supporting a care home in the Belfast area to recruit a Deputy Home Manager who is a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

Working 39 hours per week on days, this permanent role offers career development, training opportunities, free onsite parking and a supportive working environment in a dementia-capable, person-centred setting.

Qualifications

Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Experience leading teams and governance programmes in healthcare.
Knowledge of care regulations, policies and Codes of Conduct.
Experience in dementia or memory-care settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an excellent care home based in the County Antrim, Belfast area.You will be working for one of UK's leading health care provider

This is a fantastic care home which has a 24-hour dedicated nursing dementia care team and is trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia or other memory issues

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

To lead and motivate a team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence that make a positive difference to their daily lives
Achieve the highest possible standards of care to enhance the resident experience by ensuring colleagues meet the individual needs of residents in accordance with company policy, regulations and Codes of Conduct and individual care plans
Implement care home policies formulated directed towards high standards of resident care, staff welfare and training, and ensure the good reputation of the business in co-operation with the Home Manager.Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care of residents
Ensure treatments are carried out as prescribed

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home
Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services
Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
Experienced in working in the healthcare sector
Driven and motivated and believe in quality care
An energetic, committed and approached manager
An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment
A natural networker with both internal and external stakeholders
