Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is assisting a leading care provider in recruiting a Nurse Deputy Home Manager for a dementia-focused care home in County Antrim, Belfast area. The role requires an active NMC pin and experience in senior care management.

You will lead a nursing and care team to uphold high standards of resident care, coordinate policies, and ensure all treatments are administered as prescribed. This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and good benefits.

• Experience with quality and clinical governance programmes is preferred.
• Ability to guide others in line with the NMC Code at all times.

Job description

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an excellent care home based in the County Antrim, Belfast area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care provider

This is a fantastic care home which has a 24-hour dedicated nursing dementia care team and is trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia or other memory issues

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• To lead and motivate a team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence that make a positive difference to their daily lives
• Achieve the highest possible standards of care to enhance the resident experience by ensuring colleagues meet the individual needs of residents in accordance with company policy, regulations and Codes of Conduct and individual care plans
• Implement care home policies formulated directed towards high standards of resident care, staff welfare and training, and ensure the good reputation of the business in co-operation with the Home Manager. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care of residents
• Ensure treatments are carried out as prescribed

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home
• Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services
• Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
• Experienced in working in the healthcare sector
• Driven and motivated and believe in quality care
• An energetic, committed and approachable manager
• An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment
• A natural networker with both internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £22.24 - £23.50 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
