Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Bedford, Bedfordshire. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This warm and friendly care home near Bedford is designed to cater to the varying and individual needs of all residents.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff.
2. Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and business objectives.
3. Preparing staff duty rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
4. Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
5. Acting as a contact point for residents, their families, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are investigated promptly.
6. Collaborating with the Home Manager to manage the home during scheduled and unscheduled absences.
7. Contributing to team work, responding positively to colleagues, and executing work instructions promptly.
8. Advising on supplies and ensuring timely ordering of necessary items.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of up to £23.00 per hour, with an annual salary up to £53,820. This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week. In return, you will receive:
