Job summary

Silvercrest is seeking a motivated Nurse to join our care home in Wales. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to older adults, supporting daily living activities, medication administration, and monitoring residents' health.

You will work a contracted pattern of 38.5 hours across two weeks, mostly day shifts with some night work possible, in a welcoming home that values dignity and resident choice.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with current live registration.
Experience in elderly care preferred.
Ability to work day and some night shifts.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans.
Provide emotional support and build rapport with residents and families.
Assess health status of residents and report changes promptly to the care team.
Communicate with residents' families to provide health updates and wellbeing information.

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse to join our Clinical Team.

Role: Nurse

Location: Ty Nant Care Home, Williamstown, CF40 1RE

Contract Available: 38.5 hrs contract, working 33 hours in week 1 and 44 hours in week 2. Working mostly days, but some night work may also be required.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans for each resident, considering their unique medical, social, and emotional needs.
Establishing strong rapport with residents, offering emotional support, and addressing their concerns with empathy and respect
Regularly assessing and documenting the health status of residents, identifying any changes or health issues, and promptly reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintaining open communication with residents' families to provide updates on their loved ones' health and well-being
Adhering to all regulatory standards, company policies, and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care and safety.
