Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is assisting a hospital in the Charlwood area, Surrey, to recruit a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN). You will work in a low/medium secure setting caring for male patients aged 18+ detained under the Mental Health Act, with focus on extended treatment and rehabilitation.

The role requires RMN qualification and a valid NMC PIN. You will contribute to care plans, lead shifts, and mentor junior staff in a supportive, patient-centred environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of care for adults with mental illness and personality disorder.

Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an amazing hospital based in the Charlwood, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a low and medium secure hospital specialising in treating male patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• At a more senior level, you’ll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary £35,000 - £37,500 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
