Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group in Barking Hall is seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our compassionate team. You will provide care to residents, administer medications, and help with admissions and discharges.

The role requires current NMC registration, up-to-date clinical knowledge, and experience in writing detailed care plans, risk assessments and diet plans. A thorough induction and ongoing training are provided, with access to our Academy.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices.
• Experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.
• Good understanding of MCA/DoLs and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents meeting physical and psychological needs.
• Administer medications and manage documentation.
• Assist with admissions and discharges of residents.
• Participate in weekly GP rounds.
• Update and maintain resident care plans and liaise with external parties.
• Coach and develop the care team to maintain high standards.

What would a typical day look like?

• Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
• Weekly GP rounds
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
• Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
