Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a Nurse at Romford Grange to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents. The role involves nursing duties, care planning, and supporting both residents and junior staff within a friendly environment.

Salary is paid at £20.40 per hour for a 36-hour week, including two day shifts and one night shift per week (night shift on Sundays). A thorough induction and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registrations are essential.
• Experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to residents.
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication.
• Support with admissions and discharges of residents.
• Weekly GP rounds.
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans and liaising with external parties.
• Coach and develop the care team to deliver high standards of care.

Romford Grange provides residential, nursing and dementia care to elderly people living in Romford. The staff at the home are very friendly and welcoming and spend a lot of time with the residents making sure they provide good quality, person-centred care every day.

What would a typical day look like?

• Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
• Weekly GP rounds
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
• Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
