Job summary

Ullswater Community College is seeking a Numeracy Intervention Lead on a permanent basis. You will deliver targeted interventions in our Maths department, supporting pupils with diverse needs across a broad age range, including SEND and SEMH.

The role offers a full-time contract in a supportive environment with strong professional development opportunities and a focus on student wellbeing and independence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering successful interventions, particularly to students with lower prior attainment.
• A good knowledge and understanding of Maths.
• Possess a strong understanding of SEND strategies, with relevant qualifications in behaviour support or emotional literacy being highly desirable.
• Be a collaborative team player, capable of leading small working groups for intervention and working alongside our Maths department, Learning Support Assistants and external agencies.
• Hold a deep commitment to promoting student independence, well-being, and successful transition from primary school.
