Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Maths Lead/Teacher to make a real difference for learners at Hilden Park School in Tonbridge. You will teach the National Curriculum across secondary levels with small classes and tailor lessons to individual needs.

You will oversee Maths and numeracy across KS1/KS2 planning, support pupils to build confidence with numbers and prepare them for GCSE, while benefiting from in-house support and a rewarding teaching career.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Experience teaching Maths to secondary pupils and ability to engage learners.
• Ability to lead on numeracy across the school and KS1/KS2 planning.

Responsibilities

• Teach the National Curriculum across all secondary levels for Maths.
• Lead Maths and numeracy across KS1/KS2 planning and provision.
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Support pupils to develop mathematical knowledge, problem solving and confidence.
