Job summary

Boccard UK is seeking a Welding & NDT Inspector for a 6-month contract near Bridgewater, Somerset, with potential extension. The role focuses on overseeing welding, installation and fabrication quality and safety, including dimensional inspection and verification of welds to contract specs.

You will liaise with clients and production teams, help ensure nuclear safety through quality workmanship, and contribute to continuous improvement while following ITPs and contract standards.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting welding and fabrication to assess strength and quality.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, materials and safety regulations.
• Ability to liaise with clients and production teams to ensure conformance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welding, installation and fabrication activities to assure quality and safety.
• Inspect and assess strength and quality of welds; ensure equipment and procedures meet specs.
• Liaise with clients and production teams to establish good relationships and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain reports and records of inspections; ensure ITPs are followed and contract standards met.
• Contribute to continuous improvements and ensure work aligns with contract specifications and safety requirements.
