FIND | Creating Futures in Abingdon seeks an experienced hands‑on engineer or technician moving into a training and development role. You will coach Level 2/3 apprentices in electrical, mechanical, and cross‑discipline skills, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
You will assess progress, support EPA prep, and help learners build confidence, competence, and professional behaviours in a structured learning environment.
We're looking for an experienced hands‑on engineer or technician who's ready to step away from shift work or site‑based maintenance and move into a training and development role.
This is a chance to take real‑world engineering experience and use it to develop the next generation of engineers working across nuclear, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. The focus is on building competence, confidence, and capability through coaching, mentoring, and practical skills delivery.
This role will suit someone who has spent a number of years working in a high‑hazard, high‑standard engineering environment and is now looking to pass that experience on in a structured training setting.
You'll deliver and support Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering apprentices across:
