Job summary

Assystem is recruiting in the UK for an experienced Systems Engineer to contribute to complex, regulated projects in the nuclear sector. The role involves requirements management, interface management, and system architecture work across mechanical, electrical and process domains.

Candidates should have a degree in engineering or STEM, exposure to systems thinking, and familiarity with MBSE tools such as DOORS or Capella. UK nationality and SC clearance ability preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or STEM subject is mandatory or equivalent experience.
• Systems thinking and systems engineering processes are mandatory.
• Familiarity with BS or INCOSE standards desirable.
• Experience with DOORS or Capella is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage requirement specifications.
• Interface management across teams and stakeholders.
• Define system architecture and interfaces.
• Model system functions and interfaces.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and process engineers.
• Operate requirements management tools (DOORS preferred).
• Utilize MBSE approaches (Capella preferred).
