Job summary

Balfour Beatty is recruiting a Records Technician (LTQR) to join the Nuclear Quality team, supporting lifetime quality records across allocated project areas and ensuring compliance with procedures.

The role focuses on compiling LTQR deliverables, managing electronic and hard-copy documents, and supporting handover packs while aligning with project requirements and approved processes.

Strong IT skills and ability to obtain BPSS clearance are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Discipline-specific qualification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS Security Clearance.
• Strong IT and document management skills.
• Experience using EDMS and controlling LTQR records.
• Experience in major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of quality records, document control and configuration management.
• Nuclear industry experience would be advantageous.
• Experience in Alliance or collaborative project environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review and submit LTQR deliverables to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
• Manage the distribution and control of electronic and hard-copy documentation, ensuring full end-to-end configuration control.
• Produce document status reports and data updates to support project and quality management teams.
• Assist with the preparation and production of LTQR handover packs.
• Support Area LTQR Coordinators to ensure all required records are submitted for work packages in line with contractual requirements.
• Review quality records for accuracy and completeness to support Lifetime Records and End of Erection Status Reports.
• Ensure all LTQR management activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and processes.
