Job summary

Equans Group is seeking a Nuclear Project Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for major UK nuclear projects HPC and SZC. Based in London or Bristol, with potential in Lille, France, you will manage the CQAP, coordinate quality activities across engineering, procurement and on-site work.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, have strong QA/QC expertise, and be comfortable operating in an international, highly regulated nuclear context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in QA and QC within nuclear/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 19443 and IAEA GS-R-3 is advantageous.
• Familiarity with UK nuclear quality standards and LC17/CDM is desirable.
• Strong leadership, autonomy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual quality requirements are integrated into the project's Management System and followed by all personnel and supply chain.
• Establish and maintain the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP) and related documentation.
• Coordinate the quality team for engineering and procurement activities and support on-site installation.
• Oversee independent quality and nuclear safety oversight via audits and site visits.
• Manage non-conformities and supplier audits; drive corrective actions and closures.
